2022-08–26 18:15 Tue Tonight I was wracked again by uncontrollable sobbing - overwhelming grief again for lost loves, lost chances, an approaching death, my sister Jenny’s death, Mum and Dad’s deaths, the death of friends and other relatives and of course, the slow and then fast death of a whole beautiful planet’s mind-bogglingly complex ecosphere. It is intolerably sad that a species that could have consciously spread mind to at least the rest of our own galaxy is the cause of its own pathetically stupid extinction . .
